End Sofa floor plan

Looking for a 24' (or larger) travel trailer with a large bed upfront, and a sofa across the rear of the trailer. A large shower is a must, too.

The trailer I have has the sofa in the slide out and we have to turn our heads way to the left to try to watch tv. The kitchen is straight in front of the sofa.

I've looked at dozens of floor plans and haven't found the one I like.

Any ideas...

Thanks for your help.
  • Our Outback 298RE is a bit longer, but it has the rear living room with two opposing slides (plus a closet slide in the bedroom).

It came with stand alone furniture. We removed the kitchen table and 4 chairs and 2 rocker chairs and replaced them with a true, household style recliner, 3 seater, sofa. The backs are removable and that's how we got it in the door.

We put the sofa in the slide where the table and chairs were and I also added wheels (castors) to the frame so it could be rolled and moved around.

The television is in a cabinet that raises and lowers in front of the rear window. When we watch television, we simply turn the couch facing the rear window and there is no neck-crooking to deal with. With the couch on wheels, it moves easily and we absolutely love the arrangement. When we break camp, we simply roll it back into the slide, strap it down so it won't roll around with the camper in transit, and retract the slides. Done! It takes about 30 seconds to roll the sofa from one position to the other.

The nice thing also, when we don't want the television, we can leave it in the down position, and sit and enjoy watching out the rear window. With windows on all sides of the living room area, it's really like being outside, with all the comforts of being inside.

  • Arctic Fox 25Y.....sofa or recliners across the back (rear lounge floor plan).

  • Winnebago 2500RL. https://winnebagoind.com/products/travel-trailer/2018/minnie/floorplans
  • Rockwood 2604 WS Ultra Light. 29' 11' length. 6335lbs dry.

Cannot get the picture to work. Look at them on Forest River site.
This is going to be our next trailer.
  • The problem I see with the 2604 WS is exactly like I have with my current trailer.

Every time the slide is moved IN, I have to move a swivel rocker completely out of the way. I sure get tired of moving that heavy chair back and forth.

I can't believe I missed that point until I got it home. Their gain, not mine.

I'm just gonna take that rocker out of the TT for now.
