Those are the same Energy Suspension I used on my F250. They had a better unloaded ride than the StableLoads but would compress too much before engaging. I started with only ES stops, then mixed in half SL's before going to fully to SL. I had another application for the ES stops or I would have tried filling the cavities like others had done on this forum. It's always a balance of ride comfort and load handling and sometimes you have try a couple different setups to find that "just right" feeling.
I run both upper and lower SL's. Unlike Torklift's advice, I suggest adding the upper first and then see if you need more support with the lower later.
I agree. On a Super a Duty, start with Stable Load uppers and go from there.
