engine brake switch bypass

From what I understand when I read this forum that a lot of us engage the engine brake on our diesels any time we drive our trucks, myself included. I drive a 2016 f350 and I would like to bypass the switch on the dash and jump the wires. Granted my knowledge of wiring is very limited but I would think this could be an easy change to make ( except getting behind the switch). Have any of you ever done this and can you give me any advice
