It is not a claim. Anyone who knows anything about automatic transmissions knows that the only way you can make the shifts more firm and quicker is by increasing line pressure. Smooth shifts equals less line pressure while firm shifts equals more line pressure. You said it yourself that your truck shifts smoother without tow/haul mode which means.......
If you don't believe me then go ask transmission specialist the next time you are at the Ram dealership. Make sure he is the transmission specialist and not the oil change guy or some other parts replacement specialist. Or better yet, ask Ram yourself here ----> EMAIL RAM
