I have a 2002 with upgraded air intake, 4 inch exhaust, and a tuner.
After 175 k miles, I am thinking about an upgraded trans. BD and ATS are famous for putting together 4R100s that are stronger than the stock originals. Some are guaranteed for 500k miles.
I may change out the injectors and the turbo at some point, but the trans needs to be able to take it first.
In order to upgrade my truck for a later model, I need at least $35k or more. That makes long term thinking seem logical. Next I will probably get a new windshield and a little body work.
