True... the real interesting thing is the 5.0 vs the 2.7. Factoring in the elevation which handicaps the NA motor about 60 hp, in theory the two trucks should be nearly equal. But there's always more to the story than just flywheel horsepower. The 2.7 has a little lower gearing and much better low end torque, and spanks the 5.0 by a full second in the 0-60. This is proof positive that despite theory, the 2.7 is putting more power to the ground.
