Engines to avoid on F-250?
Got a lot of feedback on the F-150 5.4L 3v having a lot of problems. Is there any specific engine/year to avoid on the F-250? Thanks for the help.

Early year V10 had plug issues 2000. I own a 2004 F250 CC pickup with 6.8 V10 and no issues with it. Just replaced plugs 117k at dealer for 350.00 and I would only let the dealer do it due to the aluminium heads. My regular mechanic refused to change the plugs and he said when it's time for his motor home with V10 he will take it to the dealer. Replacing heads isn't cheap. Fyi the V10 will scream high revs going up hills but nothing wrong with it it loves the power band. 6.0 and 6.4 diesels are not the best and have plenty of known issues.
