Engines to avoid on F-250?
Got a lot of feedback on the F-150 5.4L 3v having a lot of problems. Is there any specific engine/year to avoid on the F-250? Thanks for the help.

The 6.0 is a fine engine if its been fixed. Mine had the turbo cooler leaking problem and $3000. later is still running strong at 110,000 miles. Towed the 38 ft 5th back from Brownsville last month with no problems.
Now add another $3-5k for the rest of the bulletproofing and then it's a fine engine. Still more needy on maintenance than its competition, but good engine then.
