Engines to avoid on F-250?
Got a lot of feedback on the F-150 5.4L 3v having a lot of problems. Is there any specific engine/year to avoid on the F-250? Thanks for the help.

Given that you are apparently open to GM products why not consider getting a GM 2500 truck? Then you wouldn't have to worry about 2 different diesels to avoid and gas engines with spark plug issues. The 8.1L GM big block and the 6.0 GM small block gas motors have very few (if any) chronic problems. The Duramax diesel has been excellent since the 2004.5 LLY introduction got away from the problematic injectors of the early Duramax.
