Engines to avoid on F-250?
Got a lot of feedback on the F-150 5.4L 3v having a lot of problems. Is there any specific engine/year to avoid on the F-250? Thanks for the help.

I would not buy a 5.4 3v F250. I’m a Ford Guy but I would not own one...especially if planning to tow. Basically no difference in cost or MPG but you get less HP and Less capability than the V10
I would look for an 08-10 V10 F250 or a 2011 and up 6.2 if you are wanting a gasser. Depending on the trim level you can deal with.
The GM 6.0 gas motor is BULLET PROOF from just about any year model you can find. I would try to buy one with a 6 speed instead of the 4 speed
I’m not fond of Ram in particular but the Hemi seems to be a very reliable motor.
