Engines to avoid on F-250?
Got a lot of feedback on the F-150 5.4L 3v having a lot of problems. Is there any specific engine/year to avoid on the F-250? Thanks for the help.

For $20k I would look for a 6.2L or V10 gas or a cherry 7.3L diesel which is still by far the best diesel engine Ford ever put into a pickup. I would suggest that you do some reading on the 6.7L diesel and some of it's associated issues, especially on the early build trucks (2011-2012). They have some issues that may be somewhat rare but are catastrophic if you happen to be the unlucky ones that has one of them happen.
