Engines to avoid on F-250?
Got a lot of feedback on the F-150 5.4L 3v having a lot of problems. Is there any specific engine/year to avoid on the F-250? Thanks for the help.

Nothing wrong with the 5.4l. The 3v is a solid engine. But it's also a little underpowered for heavy duty applications imo. I've towed with the 5.4l. It did OK but I wouldn't want to go back. I'd second looking for a 6.0l GM or 6.2l Ford.
