EV charging quandry

One of the main reasons folks that promote EVC's was home charging, and the savings. Now Stanford University has looked into it. And they are saying its the worst way to approach charging.

So, cant during peak usage, cant overnight, guess Kali is going to tell folks to charge them in Nevada.

    They lead with the with the cart before the horse. Mandate electric cars by 2035, but don’t have the electrical grid capacity to support it. Can they build it up that soon, only time will tell.

    California is certainly leading in it's residents making a mass exodus to other states, and it's not good........ for the other states.
  • Can’t wait for the res of the EV nut humpers to chime in.
    A respected institution in their idyllic state of Cali publishing something like this.
    They will have to update their dreams and means of being in denial of reality.

  • As a former Californian, I can say this. Watch what California does, then do something else, anything else. We can learn from its mistakes.
