Another thought from me goes into the always contentious threads of 4 wheel drive versus two wheel drive.
Sure 4 wheel drive has advantages, but once one starts sliding, as here in this case, it does nothing to help you stop.
I am not sure 4 wheel drive would have helped here anyway. I actually think it would not have with the slope as it was and the obviously very slick conditions, plus the low speed at which things happened.
Again, just glad no one hurt.
