How depressing. Glad your okay. Its amazing the amount of damage done for going so slow. If it were me I'd take those trees out, with a chain saw naturally.
Hope you get him back as good as new. Good luck.
While revenge on the trees may feel good, they're probably the only reason he's not fixing his house too.
NRALIFR,
Hang in there. Someday this will just be another story to tell. It may not be as bad as it looks.
As I read NRA's post janet said, "Those trees might have saved his house"... I agree.
City crews worked until 3AM this morning repairing a frozen... split water main in front of our house... we could look down into the hole from our living room.
When I woke at 7AM we had 3" of new snow since 3AM....We had 1 1/2" of ice covered with snow for the last week or 10 days. Janets Doctors office phoned to cancel her 11 AM app't this morning... we canceled 7 app'ts last week.
... getting old is NOT for sissies
And busted fenders are just another lifes lesson.... with no one hurt. Thank goodness!
Good news... the trees look like they'll be alright. And "our" house project is fine.
Stay safe my friends.
