With my first diesel w/exhaust brake, I tested it on a downhill ice covered parkway empty of all other traffic. I knew what to expect and I was not disappointed.
I "practice" as many scenarios while driving on ice and snow as possible as long as there is no other traffic or obstacles that I cannot afford to pay for in the vicinity.
There are too many drivers that lock up the brakes and just hold on until they hit something.
A 16 year old boy lost control of his vehicle yesterday on a slick road and killed a 94 year old lady.
