going to homestead Miami speedway championship weekend going to camp there says all generator exaust must be directed up and away from each vehicle with the use of exaust extension anybody make one?

I can't speak for Homestead but given my experiences with other NASCAR tracks:IF you have a portable generator and a long enough connection cord, you can simply sit the gen where the exhaust points AWAY from any occupied vehicles and you will be fine.Even if you have a built-in gen, you can park such that there is MAX space between your gen and the guy next door and it will be fine. That option might preclude you using your awning though.Like a lot of other accessories, the ones that CW sells are priced outrageously. Should be able to make one for about $30. Their price is about 5X that. But it does work. Yes I am lazy !!I'll be there too but not in the RV.How about a report when you get back ?I've "camped" at Daytona, 'Dega, Atlanta, Richmond, and Darlington.

I used flex conduit to route my exhaust away from the campsite.I'm guessing you would be able to use hose clamps on a pole mounted to your camper to get the flex conduit up in the air.

I do not recall where I found this, but as I recall it was on Google.

I remember seeing some discussion on the forum in the past. The idea is to create Venturi effect that will dilute exhaust before shooting it above the roof. Typical DIY is attach 3-4" dia ABS pipe to the side of RV and extend small pipe with elbow shooting the exhaust in the center of big pipe.

Sounds like you misunderstood my post.
I grew up in one system and moved as adult to other, what was very drastic change and allow me for making quick comparison.
60 years ago we all did lot of danger things on daily basis, that we will not do today at all.
Typical sample how we change is that Hoover Dam claimed several lives on the project, while Golden Gate was the first that size project where safety measures prevent fatalities.
I happen to have good genes and close by in Oakland a health plan has big road advertisement
"The first person to live 120 years is alive today"
So my goals are set, hope your as well.
That is why I will never put vent-less heater in any of my RV and I will not breath generator fumes.
BTW in Europe black top motorcycle racing is very popular sport, where fans are sitting in direct way from motorcycles fumes.
The motorcycles are powered by alcohol. Food for toughs.

I can't help but smile my way through this entire thread. I've been doing the NASCAR camping thing for years at several different tracks. Trust me...no one is going to care about the exhaust on your Honda. Most folks will be too preoccupied plotting revenge on the SOB's in the site next door who run their open-frame construction generator from 7am to midnight. FYI - we'll be in Homestead for the finale as well but not with the camper.
