If it is to heavy dry, you can just walk away. Got to have a starting place. Dry "Yellow sticker" weight is it. Much more important than trailer GVWR to me. My trailer will NEVER see the GVWR. few will.
X2 exactly. FWIW me personally I'd tow that in a heartbeat with my Ram 2500 CTD. I know what I load which helps and my current pin is about 425 lbs heavier than the dry pin "sticker-d" weight. As a matter of fact I was 400 lbs over on our last trip last year. My normal loaded pin is 1800 lbs. I crossed a scale here in Oregon and with both grey and black mostly full I was at 2200 lbs. Right about where the OP would be. I notice zero difference. I was well under all my ratings except the GVWR.
