Explosion in Companies producing Global Pickup Trucks

Quite amazed to see the number of Companies climbing on the bandwagon. Although pretty non existent in Europe, European companies are partnering with the Japanese to produce their own versions or completely different models.
Here are some I have noted : Fiat Fullback, a slightly modified version of the Mitsubishi Triton.just released: Mercedes Pickup based on the Nissan Navara, but with wider track, different body panels and larger Diesel engines coming in 2018;Renault Pickup based on the Nissan Narvara but destined for South America also 2018;Mazda dropping alliance with Ford and possibly using the Hilux chassis and lastly Peugeot looking at collaborating with Toyota to produce their own version.
Global market for Pickup " 1 Tonnes" appears to be exploding, especially in Asia.
Europe, Russia and North Asia are not part of that " explosion"
Mercedes Benz Pickup coming in 2018
Peugeot" Ute"
Fiat Fullback Pickup Truck
Renault Pickup Truck

Interesting. I like the looks of the Reanult but, the quality?
The Fiat is also nice looking, reminds me of a Chevy Colorado.

    Thanks for posting.

Don't forget that Fiat makes Dodge/Ram trucks

Also owns IVECO as well, but has gone for a rebadged Mitsubishi

We are getting Renault Vans and they have outsold the Ford Transit by a considerable margin. So it will give a yardstick to measure how good they are.

Good point. I keep forgetting about the Renault-Nissan merger. The Renault truck will probably not have many quality problems.
