Was looking at the GM site today - found GMC with Extended Cab but Chevy with NO Extended Cab. GMC site says it's coming in 2014 - but nothing on Chevy site ... So - I've always elected GMC even...

I fall into the same minority as you do. I had a '97 Astro. If GM still made them I would buy another in a heartbeat.
