One of my first gripes going from an 02 to my current 2012. You can't store anything behind the back seat... Unfortunately the new trucks will still be fold up from what I have seen on the new 1/2 tons.
Did you really go from a D/A to the 6.0? I just went the other way and couldn't imagine going back.
I got the 6.0 in addition to the D/As. I needed something to runaround in and pull a decent load if needed and I didn't want to spend 50K on a diesel. It seemed silly to continue to put nontowing miles on my duramax trucks. That's a bummer on the back seat. Maybe the increase in backseat dimensions will help somewhat.
