My dealer started around $2,000 and I had no intention of buying.  His last offer was $800 for 5 extra years so 7 total (my dealer also automatically doubled FR 1 year).  I went for it just because of the big ticket items (refrigerator, slide, etc.) and for resale value to a private party.  
The whole extended warranty thing always draws lots of opinions and I agree they are largely a bad investment. Of course, RVs as a whole are a terrible investment :) And I have mine for fun. Having the extended warranty does help me rest a bit better and not worry about the TT if it's making a noise or if I think something is having a problem.
Whatever you do don't pay $1900. It should be roughly half of that.
