I didn't buy one when I was offered one back in 2002 on my new Fleetwood Prowler TT..
Still own the same TT to this day, and nothing in it has broke that would have paid for the extra $$ they wanted for an "extended warranty"..
But, do what you think you need to do.. Anything can fail at any time, so it's just up to luck.
