Though we had done a lot of PUP towing, when we purchased our first TT, we insured it for the "purchased price" for four years.
The idea being, if I had not driven it off of a cliff by then we would probably have figure out how to pull the thing. So far so good.
To date we have had no issues. It is a three year old Dutchmen so I suspect any warranty work was done before we bought it.
