I think the Zamp solar connector is simply a standard SAE connector like this:

I put one of these standard SAE connectors on the wall of my trailer so I could easily plug my portable folding solar panels to it. On the inside of the trailer I wired the connector to a solar charge controller that is connected to my battery bank.
I installed an inverter (2000Watt PSW) and Automatic Switch to allow the battery bank to power the AC circuits for TV, Microwave, toaster, etc...
I wonder if the "solar ready" feature includes a solar charge controller also (probably not), or if they expect you to provide that with the portable solar panels.
