Oh, but yes there are waterproof controllers sold by Morningstar in 6, 10, and 20A versions.

I once used their 6A on a 130W panel by placing the controller INSIDE the battery box on the tongue.

I think Zamp wires them contrary to the SAE standard, and direct to the battery. So, always use an external controller and a meter to confirm polarity.

My suspicion is that Zamp provides them free, or near to it, to RV manufacturers in order to advertise/sell their systems.

AFAICT, Zamp stuff is good quality, just overpriced for the market.

If your tv is 12v then you are good to go. If the tv is 120v you will need an inverter... or it may have an inverter.
(inverter is different from a converter)

I think the Zamp solar connector is simply a standard SAE connector like this:

I put one of these standard SAE connectors on the wall of my trailer so I could easily plug my portable folding solar panels to it. On the inside of the trailer I wired the connector to a solar charge controller that is connected to my battery bank.

I installed an inverter (2000Watt PSW) and Automatic Switch to allow the battery bank to power the AC circuits for TV, Microwave, toaster, etc...

I wonder if the "solar ready" feature includes a solar charge controller also (probably not), or if they expect you to provide that with the portable solar panels.

If you want to add some solar power, this forum is a great place to get advice. Or start searching the tech forum here and start reading up.
