The biggest reason I had the stabilization work done on our cargo tray was because of the listing of the tray on the generator side as it's heavier on that end and the design of our steps won't permit us to balance the weight. It did clunk a bit but only noticeable when using the steps, not that it didn't flop going down the road, we just didn't notice it. That darned tilt down on one end, although not much, bugged the heck out of me. Whenever any of our other stingers rattle I just put two or three wraps of electrical tape around it before sticking it into the tube. When it wears out in a year or two I just replace it. The tape, not the singer, right.
