It's always better to repack by hand. You can see and feel the bearings. The EZ lube/bearing buddy axles are better for boat trailers that need to be greased where it pushes out any water. They are completely useless on a trailer that never gets submerged. The RV manuf use them as a sales tactic/gimmick to make it look easy to maintain your trailer.
