EZ Pass over Outerbridge Crossing

Just looked at the toll schedule....yup, 4 axles, $72 if you have sleazy pass. Sounds insane!

Not sure how it works over there, but the car/truck is registered as a single vehicle, then anything you tow goes by axles. so I would see it as a car with a single axle trailer. at least that's how it works here in IL.

the skyway from Chicago to Indiana is pretty bad too (though not 6x, that's crazy!) My TT is single axle, and lighter than a lot of cars. 2 axle car, 4.50. that 3rd axle on the TT? $15.00. The logic there is baffling.

I have 3 EZ-Pass tags for my pickup!
One just the truck. (Car rate) class 2L
One for truck and a single axle trailer class 3L
One for truck and two axle trailer class 4L

The L stands for tow vehicle less than 7 ft high.

ChecK your toll class if you don't use the proper tag they use 4H the highest rate.

By the way the extra tags were no charge! You have to keep unused ones in RF limiting bags not to confuse the system.

Call EZ PASS and they will help you provided you do not cop an attitude.

Love tolls. May and June and July were $75 each for me. Accidentally took the Skyway home over Memorial day with the camper. Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be:

$72 seems a little excessive for one toll.

Just paid $50 for the Goethals (two axle trailer).

Thank you for all the replies. Im hoping this "L" suggestion might make a difference. I can see like 30 dollars but 72 is nuts.

If your pickup is Srw it's $29.50-$31.50. If dually, then it's $72.
