My HD truck meets my needs, just like this truck will meet the owners LD needs. Pulling boats, smaller campers, weekend warrior activities where most family's fit into.
I'm not sure GM needs to follow suit with the half tons, they already have the lil' Dmax in the mid-sized trucks whereas none of the others even have a mid-size. Also, the mid-sized GMs have fairly decent payloads and towing capacities relative to their size.
