F-150 Crew Max Tow vs. Hideout 30ft TT

Again, new to actually caring about specs, but if I looked at GCWR, max tongue and max towing, my F150 beats a 2000 F250. So other than payload, a new F150 is comparable or better spec wise.
Am I wrong? Is max payload more important than the other specs?
(I am sure this has been beaten like a dead horse somewhere on this board)
