Ok, my current truck is a 2013 F-150 4x4 Crew Cab Max Tow. GVWR on the truck says 7650 lbs overall. Best I could deduce from the lovely Ford Towing Guide is that overall towing capacity would be 11,20...

Why not? I do it every time I hook up. But then I paid attention to the capabilities of my truck. My TT is well within the trucks towing weights. No manufacturer limits the trailer length, only the trailer weight. I also realized it has a longer wheelbase than many 250s. Plus I adjusted the hitch correctly. The TT follows along just like a puppy, with -0- sway.
I guess I just don't understand.
