When pass or meet a truck, they are producing a bow wave much like a boat in the water. When that bow wave hits the back of the trailer, the longer the trailer time times the force from the bow wave, the more push back on the hitch on the back bumper.
All of you 1/2 ton folks, a 1/2 ton is suitable for pull a trailer, but it will be a smaller trailer. So I wish y'all the best and hope I do not meet the 30' plus TT and your 1/2 ton truck.
