It's comes down to preference, you might be in the ratings but many feel some 1/2 tons are overrated, or leave too little extra rating over "allowable" rating. I wouldn't tow that trailer with a 1/2 ton with my family in the cab around here.
Many also don't really know if they are in their ratings or not. Have you scaled your setup?
A quick search shows your truck has a 1840lb payload, is that correct? A fully loaded 32' TT will probably end up with a tongue weight of about 1200lbs, if not more. . The hitch will likely take another 100lbs of that. That just doesn't leave much room for family and anything in the truck, and is the biggest issue with 1/2 tons. Their limits aren't really negotiable, unlike SRW HD trucks.
My TT has similar empty weights and my TW jumps up to 1250lbs really quickly and I have seen it as high as 1350. Just my 0.02.
Did you tow this specific trailer with the F-350? And what generation F-350 was it?
