My trailer is 27' box and close to 32' total.
Towed with a 1/2 ton with several thousand miles, including up and down the Smoky Mountains.
No problems.
I had to actually get in the left lane to pass semis going up several grades.
Notice nowhere in this post did I mention weight. That's because you didn't mention weight, only length. For all you know, my 32' trailer could weigh 5,500 pounds. You didn't mention slides, water, bedding, dishes, etc. You simply mentioned trailer length.
I think weight is more important than length.
