Acdii, so first you say "Compared to my F150, Ram can't hold a candle to it. Not in the Tech, not in the power, nor in the comfort." then you make this post "Whatever they did to them made for the worst riding suspension in the F150's. Going over railroad tracks, or hitting expansion joints on a curve would cause the rear end to kick out. Hard bumps or rough roads would have the truck jiggling all over the place and I could feel double or triple rebounds as the tires bounced over bumps." so which one is it?".
As for ride and tech, you are the only one saying that Ford is on top....well there are a few other Fanboys saying it too. But as for ALL of the people rating these trucks, they all say Ram 1500 hands down beats the F150 and GM twins in ride and
beats Ford in the Tech area. Now when it comes to power yep no one in the 150/1500 class trucks can touch Ford.
You even contradict yourself as to Ford being the best in towing. They are the fastest in towing but not the best. There are more important things in towing then being able to tow a trailer at 100 mph!
If as you say "the F150 are squirrely when towing", that makes the Ford the very worst vehicle to own if you are towing a trailer period! Can it be fixed? As you pointed out by changing out some stock parts you can make it better but why would someone pay $58,000+ for a f150 EB, HDPL, HDT if you have to swap out the sub-par parts Ford is putting on their trucks?
Again buy the right tool in the first place and you wouldn't have to mode an already over priced truck!
