OK so, when did ram get a 360* camera? Or Adaptive Cruise? Or Auto High Beam, or trailer backup assist, or auto park feature? Last I checked, not available, so how does Ram beat the F150 in tech? Last I checked it is tied with GM at #2 with F150 still holding the #1 spot. Besides, the #1 reason I replaced my totaled out 2014 is because of Safety. The F150 ranks the highest in crash safety, and I got to see it first hand, and have the video to prove it.
From what I have been reading about the 2018 F150, Ford has addressed the issue with tow handling with a stiffer frame, and has also increased the tow ratings. The #1 complaint about the new generation is the shocks, which is perhaps 90% of the reason for the weird handling on a rough road. A set of Bilstiens in the rear fixes all the bad habits when empty.
I'm not denying that the current generation has some issues, it's not the perfect truck, but it does have higher tow capacity, and more towing power than ram, which is undeniable. Believe me, I am very disappointed in how poorly it handles my trailer considering that the prior gen handled it perfectly fine, without any modifications to the truck. Besides, if I wanted a car like ride, well, I would not have traded my perfectly fine 2013 Fusion Hybrid in for an F150.
