Standard F250s are soft too. Well, not soft but compliant with light/no load, very similar to how the Ram coils ride.
Sure, both can “handle” a 3000lb load, both barely and doing the Carolina squat.
Point is, none of this matters. Aside from maybe if you’re planning on a truck camper which is not good with the Ram coil design.
All of them can be shored up with suspension adders and being around all 3, all 3 3/4 tons will need something to help once much over a ton in the bed.
Unless you like the Carolina squat look...
