F 250 vs Ram 2500

The wifey and I are discussing a new truck in the next 2 years. Right now we have a 2013 Ford F 150 SCAB long box. When we have children, she wants a crew. I cannot give up the 8 foot box. AFAIK no on...

All depends on size of TC. Original owner of my 2500 01 Sport hauled a TC and boat across Steven Pass Hwy 2 in WA all the time. Truck seems fine to me.


Second gen RAM 2500's with the camper option were more or less a SRW 3500 when they did not have one. RGAWR on all 2500 back then was 6084 even if the came with the 265/75R16E tire option. RAM could have given those a 6830 RGAWR but they didn't.


TRUE, it hauls one hell of a load!

All depends on size of TC. Original owner of my 2500 01 Sport hauled a TC and boat across Steven Pass Hwy 2 in WA all the time. Truck seems fine to me.


Second gen RAM 2500's with the camper option were more or less a SRW 3500 when they did not have one. RGAWR on all 2500 back then was 6084 even if the came with the 265/75R16E tire option. RAM could have given those a 6830 RGAWR but they didn't.
