Other truck forums have the same silly discussion. If you care that much, go get a Prius or a Tesla. I know my current truck is 900km empty/700km full. Can I get better? Sure, but knowing that makes my life easier when driving.
I go through roughly $100,000 worth of fuel per year. Saving a bit on my fuel bill doesn’t seem all that silly to me. I didn’t buy my ‘ 21 specifically to save on fuel but if one truck can save 10% on fuel vs another that amounts to money in the bank the same as saving on the purchase price or CP4 failures.
