Others have written about the power of the 3.5 EcoBoost, and they are absolutely right. Pulled my TT out to the Grand Canyon and back about a year ago, it went up those 10,000 mountains in Colorado very easily. 4th gear going up grades at 55 MPH. Fuel mileage averaged 11.1 overall for the trip. In the summer, I get an easy 18 in non-towing mixed driving, 22 at 65 mph, 19 at 75 mph. Did get over 27 once at a steady 56 mph over about a 20+ mile trip, but that was no headwind, no stops, no AC. Also got about 13 once on a very fast trip up north at 85-90 MPH. Dangle your toes in the turbos, you pay. Fuel mileage in the winter decreases 10-15% due to the crappy winter fuel around here, cold starts on the engine, defroster use (turns on the AC compressor), etc. Also, if you opted for the 20" tires, your fuel mileage will suffer.
