Hey Womps, Thank you for the reply and yes I did read and view their review of the new Ram V6 8 speed vs the F150 3.7 v6. Actually I thinks it's great that Ford, Dodge and now GM with the new 4.3 v6 are offering these new beefed up economical V6's. These companies V8's are excellent but not everyone needs a V8. I'd hate to get a V8 when a V6 will work fine based on my needs and will use it well within what it's rated for.
That new Ram Pentastar V6 paired with the 8 speed transmission and other items equipped to make it more aerodynamic with saving fuel really interests me but based on my past experience of selling Chrysler products it scares me thinking of the long term reliability. Every manufacturer has had their issues and no vehicle is perfect but from my experience and again I'm stressing my experience with selling lots and lots of Dodge/Ram trucks new and used to they just didn't seem to age very well to say the least and I came from growing up in a Mopar family driving Plymouth/Chrysler cars. I really sincerely hope Chrysler changed in that respect. I know it's subjective in saying this but I think they have the best looking truck yet I don't trust it for the long term in a 1/2 ton and I plan to drive my next pickup till it dies being hopefully a long time.
I also like that tailgate step in the f150. Save my knees as I get older. Lol
Anyone? F150 with the 3.7?
