F150 5th wheel towing possible ugrades

Rough estimates to get a ballpark estimate here.
- 6200 dry so let's say 7700 loaded
- 20% of 7700 1540
1700 payload - 1540 leaves you 160 lbs before the 5th wheel hitch, passengers and gear. I would say that is not enough.
From prior posts I have seen the folks with an F-150 pulling smaller 5th wheels that were within spec had the Max Payload version which has 8200 GVWR, RAWR of 4850, 6 1/2' bed and LT tires. These are not really common
