Go back and read the ''links'' I posted.... You guys are confusing the OP!... His F-150 will haul the 6.8 Camplite Truck Camper just fine!

Nope, but you do need an appropriately sized truck and the TC manufacturers are all liars.
If that was the case, then everyone could file a ''lawsuit''!

Lance also says my 815 will work on a 1/2 ton.
BUT, Lance didn't say it was
''DESIGNED'' for any 1/2 Ton Trucks like the Livin-Lite Website says.... You said Lance says it will work... ''Will work'' and ''designed'' is different!

What you should conclude from this is that if the camper manufacturer says that a camper will work on a 1/2 ton, what they really mean is that if your 3/4 ton is a 2wd, regular cab, you're okay, and otherwise, you need a 1 ton truck to carry it.
The manufacturer said the 6.8 Camplite Truck Camper
''is designed'' for ''any 1/2 ton.''.... It don't say it will/might work, it said it was ''DESIGNED'' for 1/2 Ton Trucks!
The 6.8 Camplite Truck Camper ''IS DESIGNED'' for ''ANY'' 1/2 ton, Those trucks would be the ''Ford F-150''.
THE LIGHTEST FULLY SELF CONTAINED SHORT BED TRUCK CAMPER ''MADE FOR A 1/2 TON''!
Camplite 6.8 Ultra Lightweight Aluminum Truck CamperCan you read that ?.... Click on the link and read it if you need to.
wvabeer... Your F-150 would haul the 6.8 just fine!... If you need to, you can install airbags so you can pull trailers, boats etc.. etc..
When I first started hauling my ''hard-side Sunlite TC'', I didn't have airbags... Only reason I installed airbags, was because I went with a larger boat... My Sunlite weighs A LOT more than that 6.8 Camplite, and I haul mine with 2002 F-150 and pull a pontoon.
Call them and talk to them on the phone, and please don't listen to some members on here... They don't know what ''designed means''.
