I just got off the phone with the sales rep and was told the weights are in line with what they weigh. And was assured I would have zero problems. As they have sold thousands and have had no axle problems. So, I guess I'm gonna run the wheels off my truck and hope no problems happen. A camper like mine without the 4 season package weighed 2066lb. If I have a problem you know who I'll be calling.
That wood stove sure is heavy ;)

It was a factory option.

At 500#...it must be the "wood burning stove" winter pkg!

I did a lot of axle research in 2010 when I bought my F 150. At the time Sterling was building Ford axles. Ford rated my 2010 SCAB 4x4 6.5 box rear axle at 3850.

But Sterling rated the 9.75 axle (without the consideration of springs and tires/wheels) at 4500. Ford has since bought Sterling out and are making the axles themselves at the same plant. I can not imagine they would re-tool the 9.75 to carry any less weight than Sterling.

I also dug up my rear axle weight with camper on it 4620 lbs empty camper

IIRC for 1/2 tons the limiting factor IS the axle (not tire/wheel) rating.
Keep in mind, we are all just trying to help you make good/safe decisions.
Many of us on the TC side of life are over on various ratings (GVWR, payload).
Axle/tire/wheels are considered sacred.
For good reason.

I got to thinking about your post and I am going to contact Livinlite and see about correcting this problem. When I went to buy this it was suppose to weigh 1780lbs so I am going to try to hold them to it.

You did the right thing with the air bags, rims, and tires. It will increase yuor GVWR from 7200 to 7700, just like mine.

I see that your loaded camper is around 2800#, about 1000# more than mine. Most of this weight will be on the rear. Have you weighed it? what's the rear axle number? I'd like to get a hard side as well. Thanks.

The camper was suppose to be 1770lb as per the dealer and title when I got it home and weighed it it was 2270. I would not have driven 500 miles to purchase a 2270lb camper for my 150 but sense it drove fine coming home I decided to beef up what I could to make it a HD 150. I have no doubt it will handle the load.

I wonder if those weights include the axle assembly tires,rims too?
