just curious- what type of tie downs are you using? Happi-Jac have those centering guides in the front that I think help the TC from side-to-side motion whereas the TL's do not.
Not that a tie-down system vs. plastic bedliner is conclusive... I would say that you are in the minority of TC'ers who use plastic, but if it works then no sense changing what works. :)
