The ONE issue I find with the small displacement is that engine braking is lacking. Really need to make sure you control your speed before you head down the hill. High RPM's when downshifting and a light tap on the peddle here and there will keep it under control.
The OP does not have the EB. Totally different animal in terms of performance.
