Yes, and it's impossible to find an after-market receiver to replace or augment the 2011-2014 Max Tow receivers (with 1150# TW for Weight Distributing).
For the regular tow receivers (1050# TW for WDH), you CAN get an after-market upgrade ... but what's the point? The truck probably couldn't handle the TW anyway.
And the Superduties have several possible after-market hitch receivers with higher ratings.
Your only solution, if you believe the Ford's rating is actually a structural limitation of the hitch receiver (and not everybody believes that), is to get it modified/strengthened by a competent hitch shop. Can-Am RV up here in Ontario does it.
Apparently the 2015 F150's Hitch Receiver is rated a bit higher at 1220# for WDH TW. Not sure if that's all of them or what ...
