Yes, I have. I was hoping to get more travel trailer specific experience. - Mike134ExplorerHave you poked around on this forum?
https://www.f150forum.com/ - BB_TXNomadThe Ford Powerboost trucks are common on dealer lots and have been for some time since they came out in the 2021 models. And yes, it is a 3.5 Ecoboost engine with an electric motor. But the Powerboost has more hp and torque.
I bought a 2022 with Ecoboost as I don’t plan on towing very heavy and leery of new until it is proven 2-3 years. - goducks10ExplorerThere's 258 used ones for sale on CarGurus.
- mkirschNomad III think you're jumping the gun here. You're talking about a brand new powertrain here, in a year where production has been delayed. Have any of these even hit dealer lots yet? On top of that you're asking in the middle of winter, far from prime camping season.
Though if I were to speculate, it's a 3.5L Ecoboost engine coupled to an electric motor. I can't believe it's anything but better than a straight Ecoboost as long as the battery holds out.
