Mbloof-I have to ask; why didn’t you get a 1 ton when you upgraded in 2017? Was it a licensing/registration thing?
It was a availability thing. All the lots within 100mils of my house had crew cabs and I wanted another super cab. I bought the last super cab on the lot. I was not considering special ordering something.
Besides the mentioned to death extra leaf in the rear, there really is no difference. Since I'm rolling ~12,000LBS as it is, I'd be over the GVWR of a F350 SRW anyway.
I did go from a XL to a Lariat and a under powered 5.8L to a 6.7L PSD.
