Hard data is available and you have it......the PAYLOAD Rating.
Camper = payload. Ford can't tell you how a Lance 1161 loads up vs a Northern Lite 10.2 or whatever.
If having the heaviest duty light truck a person can buy and a payload rating attached to it is not enough, then I'd question that person's ability or confidence level to be able to load, haul, maneuver and control such a big "load."
If the truck don't have a camper rating it doesn't have one. If a person can't deduce that Ford doesn't make "different" trucks for campers than the other 1,000,000 trucks, then we can't help you with our anecdotal evidence.
